Astral CA 400 Media Filter (CA400) — 10-lateral underdrain reduces pressure loss and saves power; Faster, more effective backwashing that conserves water.
Description
Astral CA 400 Media Filter is a pool filtration product intended for removing suspended matter from circulating water. Model: CA400. Highlights: 10-lateral underdrain reduces pressure loss and saves power; Faster, more effective backwashing that conserves water.
Filtration design and maintenance
The CA400 delivers clearer filtered water using fine sand or crushed recycled glass as the filtration media. Its multiport valve is engineered to optimise water flow and reduce resistance; it a good match for modern high-efficiency pumps such as the Viron XT P320.
A screw-on lock ring secures the multiport valve in seconds; self-sealing barrel unions make installation; servicing and future media access straightforward. If you'd like professional installation, we can arrange an experienced technician in the Perth area.
